The World Budo Kai and United Martial Arts International Guild are a Multi-Style Martial Arts Organisation encompassing many different disciplines of Martial Arts including - Ju Jitsu, Kung Fu (including Dragon, Tiger & Crane) , Aikido, Bo Jutsu, Karate, Tai Chi, Tai Chi Chuan, Chinese Staff (6ft, 4ft and hand Jo), Three Sectional Staff and Spear. We also including a major practice of an healing art called Zen Shin Katsu that can lead many students to obtain a practitioners qualification. Our main objectives are:
To promote a spirit of unity with common goals and ideals within the Martial Arts Community
To teach all the disciplines of martial arts to the very highest of standards through a common grading system through a progression of coloured belts to Dan/Degree Grade - Black Belt/Sash and beyond
To promote a feeling of well being, both physically and spiritually through the teachings and philosophies of all the martial arts
We offer half day and weekend training courses giving our students the opportunity to train together either within their own style or system or to practice and grade in another system. Students also have the opportunity to learn the Traditional revival system of Kuatsu and The Therapeutic Healing System of Zen Shin Katsu in conjunction with many of the Budo Courses.
Competition Days are held and arranged by the organisation during the year with Groundwork and Kata/Form Competitions.
The organisation is constantly taking on new members/clubs who can gain access to our vetted CRB checks via the Martial Arts Development Commission, various courses including Child Protection and Working with Vulnerable Adults etc. We also provide help for some of our club instructors to work towards obtaining qualifications in Drug Awareness and Solvent Abuse recognition.
New members have access to
all our legal policies including Constitutions, Risk Assessments, Vulnerable
Adults etc and also are invited to learn new skills at our various training
