Ranks in the Shaolin Chuan Fa system are as follows
White, Yellow, Orange, Green, Blue, Purple, Purple White, Brown, Brown White
Higher ranks in the Shaolin Chuan Fa system are as follows
Black – Disciple, Gold – 2nd degree upwards, Red – 5th Degree Master
What is a black sash disciple?
"What is a black sash? It means you have made an entry into discipleship, you have proven yourself over a period of rigorous training. You are
dedicated, loyal, knowledgeable and above all, trustworthy.
You do more than what is asked of you seeing tasks not as duties but as challenges to learn from. Problems are turned into challenges and
you see more solutions than problems.
You sacrifice time and effort. Rather than neglect work or school, you learn to cultivate each with your Kung Fu.
You lead, not through intimidation or rank, but through compassion and respect. You are a model, and people openly and genuinely respect you.
But as Tashi Leon King stated, this is where you start learning and you can always learn something from a white sash.

Instructor - Has been a assistant instructor for 1 year and has achieved Brown sash rank or higher. Students who are attempting to go for the instructor title must have completed the following courses through Hull Kung Fu or Hull Tai Chi - Coaching Disabled Performers, Child Protection, Equity, First Aid, Vulnerable Adults |
